On Monday, the so-called ‘conservative’ Supreme Court ultimately decided that the Biden administration’s federal Border Patrol agents could cut through razor wire installed by the state of Texas along on the U.S.-Mexico border to help stop illegal immigrants from entering the country.
In a 5-4 vote, the Court granted an emergency request filed by the Biden administration, arguing that Texas was preventing federal agents from carrying out their duties – which in this case is apparently the exact opposite of border security.

Court Says Razor Wire Can Come Down
As readers may have come to expect, two of the ‘conservative’ justices sided with the court’s liberals to allow the federal government to tear down Texas’ defenses and open the borders.
Opening, rather than closing and keeping secure, apparently being the function of the Border Patrol.
NBC News reported:
The Biden administration says the wire prevents agents from reaching migrants who have already crossed over the border into the U.S.
Texas Gov. Gregg Abbott, a Republican, installed the razor wire near the Rio Grande at Eagle Pass as part of an operation to address illegal immigration that has brought the state into conflict with the Biden administration.
Texas sued after Border Patrol agents cut through some of the razor wire, claiming the agents had trespassed and damaged state property.
A federal judge ruled for the Biden administration, but the New Orleans-based 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals last month reversed that decision, saying agents could not cut or move the wire unless there was a medical emergency.
One question that doesn’t appear to be asked enough in conservative cirlces is, “Why are Border Patrol agents following these orders?”
Conservatives often express the notion that law enforcement is de facto on their side, regardless of how many times that notion is proven disastrously false. Will this change their minds?
The story added, “Abbott’s immigration enforcement plan, called Operation Lone Star, includes busing thousands of migrants to Democratic-led cities and arresting migrants on trespassing charges. The state previously placed buoys in the Rio Grande to prevent crossings, prompting the Biden administration to sue. The barrier currently remains in place while litigation continues.”

Texas is Being Invaded
So let’s get this straight.
Texas is being overrun by illegal immigrants everyday. Federal Border Agents either aren’t doing anything about it. Texas steps in and adds razorwire to the border to help stop illegal entry.
And the nation’s top court says Texas can’t do this? That the state must simply live with being invaded?
There is an appeal ahead. Hopefully this decision won’t stand.
