While there are a plethora of video clips of left-leaning media figures distraught over the realization that Donald Trump was winning the election last night, Jake Tapper’s may have won the grand prize.
Tapper, a one-time right-leaning journalist who went to CNN and slowly morphed in thought and appearance to Rachel Maddow, was presented with data showing President Biden’s performance in the election as compared to Kamala Harris.
Harris performed worse in this election across the board than Biden in 2020. Completely. Like, not a single outlier county in the nation saw her as a better candidate.
When presented with a map showing which counties she fared better in, the entire map – except for a small section of the East because it had a menu covering it – went gray.
“Holy smokes!” Tapper replied, jolting a bit.

It gets even better. Clinging to hope that there was some area in the East Harris may have won but was simply hidden behind the menu on the display, Jake Tapper watched as it slid away.
Zero counties.
“Literally nothing?” a shocked Tapper exclaimed. “Literally not one county?”

Trump With A Massive Mandate
Donald Trump made a stunning comeback in last night’s election. It was a blowout by any measure. In a sane world, it would have been a Reaganesque landslide.
The GOP also flipped the Senate and they seem to be in good shape to retain the House. He has a mandate from the American people.
Jake Tapper and his colleagues are probably not having a normal one today.

Trump’s campaign focused on key issues such as economic revival, immigration reform, and a return to traditional values, which resonated with a substantial portion of the electorate.
Perhaps that’s what hurts Tapper and CNN the worst.
