The former President Donald Trump finally hit back at the far-left Hollywood star Robert De Niro on Sunday night, branding him as being “unwatchable” and a “total loser.”
Trump Smacks Down De Niro
“Robert De Niro, whose acting talents have greatly diminished, with his reputation now shot, must even use a teleprompter for his foul and disgusting language, so disrespectful to our Country,” Trump said on Truth Social.
“He has become unwatchable both in movies, and with the FOOLS that destroyed the Academy Awards, bringing them from one of the top shows in the Country to a Low Rated afterthought,” Trump continued. “De Niro should focus on his life, which is a mess, rather than the lives of others. He has become a total loser, as the World watches, waits, and laughs!”
Not stopping there, Trump proceeded to double down on this on Monday morning.
“Robert De Niro is a ‘mental midget’ whose mind is shot, and whose life is a total train wreck,” he said. “Very much like Crooked Joe Biden, he can’t put two sentences together. The good news is that this crude and very stupid ‘animal’ has lost all credibility!”

De Niro’s Attack On Trump
This came after De Niro, 80, shamelessly bashed Trump at the Gotham Film Awards last month.
“History isn’t history anymore. Truth is not truth,” De Niro said, according to Newsweek. “Even facts are being replaced by ‘alternative facts.’ Lying has become just another tool in the charlatans’ arsenal.”
De Niro went on to claim that Trump “lied to us more than 30,000 times during his four years in office.”
“He’s keeping up the pace in his current campaign of retribution,” De Niro continued. “But, with all his lies, he can’t hide his soul. He attacks the weak, destroys the gifts of nature, and shows disrespect. For example, by using ‘Pocahontas’ as a slur.’”
This was seemingly a reference to the nickname that Trump gave Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-MA), who has been accused of lying about having Native American heritage.

De Niro’s Previous Attacks On Trump
De Niro has long been an outspoken critic of Trump’s. When he received a lifetime achievement award from the Screen Actors Guild back in 2020, he used his speech to bash Trump, claiming that his administration had launched a “blatant abuse of power.”
“There’s right and there’s wrong. There’s common sense and there’s abuse of power,” De Niro said at the time. “As a citizen, I have as much right as anybody—an actor, an athlete, a musician, anybody else—to voice my opinion. And if I have a bigger voice because of my situation, I’m going to use it whenever I see a blatant abuse of power.”
Back in 2018, De Niro received a standing ovation for cursing out Trump onstage at the Tony Awards.
“I’m going to say one thing: ‘F— Trump,’” De Niro said at the time, according to The Hill. “It’s no longer ‘down with Trump,’ it’s ‘f— Trump.’”
Trump Fires Back
Trump fired back at him days later in a way that only he can.
“Robert De Niro, a very Low IQ individual, has received to many shots to the head by real boxers in movies,” Trump said. “I watched him last night and truly believe he may be ‘punch-drunk.’”
“I guess he doesn’t realize the economy is the best it’s ever been with employment being at an all time high, and many companies pouring back into our country,” he added. “Wake up Punchy!”
