The rapper Snoop Dogg is speaking out this week to say that he has “nothing but love and respect for Donald Trump” despite publicly bashing the former president on various occasions in recent years.
Snoop Changes His Mind About Trump
Daily Mail reported that Snoop has parodied Trump’s assassination in his music videos, told people not to vote for him, and branded him a “racist, f**king clown president” in the past. However, he appears to have had a change of heart, as he is now saying that Trump did “great things” when he pardoned his friend Michael Harris from his prison sentence back in 2021.
“Donald Trump? He ain’t done nothing wrong to me,” Snoop told the Sunday Times. “He has done only great things for me. He pardoned Michael Harris. So I have nothing but love and respect for Donald Trump.”
Back in 2021, Snoop praised Trump for the “great work” he did “on the way out” after he pardoned the cocaine kingpin Michael “Harry O” Harris.
“That’s great work for the president and his team on the way out. They did some great work while they was in there and they did some great work on their way out. Let them know that I love what they did,” Snoop said at the time. “It is amazing what the work of God can actually bring to life to make people understand that there is a God.”

This was in stark contrast to comments that Snoop made about Trump and his supporters in the past. In 2019, he urged government employees not to vote for Trump because “he doesn’t give a f*** about y’all.”
“F*** him too, and f*** everybody down with Donald Trump,” Snoop said. “I just wanna say this real quick on the political s***.”
“All you people for the federal government that are not getting paid right now, ain’t no f***ing way in the world you can vote for Donald Trump when he comes back up again,” he added. “If ya’ll do vote for him, y’all some stupid motherf***ers, I’m saying that to y’all early.”
In March of 2017, Snoop even parodied Trump’s assassination in the music video for his album “Lavender.” The video ended with Snoop taking out a fake gun and pointing it towards a clown-like president Donald Trump character with a painted orange face.

‘F**king Clown’ Trump
Later that year, Snoop posted an image to Instagram that showed him standing over a dead body covered with an American flag. The body had a toe tag that read “Trump.”
“I feel like it’s a lot of people making cool records, having fun, partying, but nobody’s dealing with the real issue with this f**king clown as president, and the sh** that we dealing with out here, so I wanted to take time out to push pause on a party record and make one of these records for the time being,” Snoop said at the time.
We’re glad to see that after so many years of being radically anti-Trump, Snoop has finally come around. Though liberals are undoubtedly livid about Snoop’s comments, we can only hope that he sticks to his guns and officially endorses Trump in this year’s presidential election!
