The Secret Service detail assigned to Kamala Harris’ stepdaughter Ella Emhoff arrested an “anti-police watcher” during a heated altercation on a NYC sidewalk on Tuesday.
Video obtained by TMZ shows a man described as an “anti-police watcher” getting upset over law enforcement being allowed to park by displaying placards, whereas citizens cannot.
Emhoff, the daughter of Second Gentlemen Doug Emhoff, was inside a Tribeca restaurant for lunch when the frustrated New Yorker confronted her detail outside.
It appears that the man was unaware he was dealing with the Secret Service and may have assumed it was simply a plainclothes officer.
He eventually ripped a plate off one of the agency’s SUVs.

Secret Service Arrested The Man, Ella Emhoff Escorted To Safety
Ella Emhoff, who was inside the restaurant with a friend, was rushed out and placed in one of the SUVs, video shows.
The Secret Service confirmed to TMZ that the man had messed with the license plate unprovoked. He was then detained and arrested.
The clip shows him being escorted away.
The agency pointed out that none of the protectees under their watch was in danger due to the altercation.
It is unclear at this time what charges the man might face.

Honestly, the Secret Service is very lucky here. Had the man confronting Ella Emhoff’s detail scaled a sloped roof and started complaining about their parking, they never would have been able to stop him.
Slightly sloped roofing is the agency’s Kryptonite, as we all know from the Trump assassination attempt.
The Secret Service has been under intense scrutiny for the myriad failures that led to the attempt on Trump’s life, and resulted in the death of a former fire chief who shielded his wife and kids during an onslaught of bullets at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.
Emhoff, meanwhile, has somehow established herself as a model, designer, and style icon.
