Chatter regarding the possibility of Donald Trump choosing Vivek Ramaswamy as his vice presidential candidate was on the rise after his appearance at a rally in which the current GOP frontrunner said “he’s going to be working with us for a long time.”

Ramaswamy appeared alongside Trump at a speech in New Hampshire on Tuesday and was immediately showered in chants of “VP! VP! VP!”

After delivering a speech in which he declared that Trump would “revive” the nation, Ramaswamy earned hearty cheers from the crowd in attendance.

“Pretty good, isn’t it?” Trump said of the speech. “He is a fantastic guy, and he’s really got something that is very special.”

Trump added, “He is going to be working with us, and he will be working with us for a long time,” eliciting more cheers.

Ramaswamy posted the video to his X account and captioned it: “America-First. One movement. Indivisible.”

Ramaswamy For Veep?

Ramaswamy, prior to his appearance at the New Hampshire campaign speech, had consistently downplayed any chance of him becoming a vice presidential candidate, or even a Trump cabinet member for that matter.

“I will be helpful to this country in whatever way I can, but I would not be number two or member of an administration,” he previously said. “I just don’t think that’s the right way for me to make the maximal positive impact on this country.”

Trump has praised Vivek Ramaswamy throughout the campaign despite a social media post calling for him to get out of the race prior to the Iowa Caucus.

The former President told The Hill that you “have to like a guy like that.”

“He’s a smart guy. He’s a young guy. He’s got a lot of talent. He’s a very, very, very intelligent person,” Trump said. “He’s got good energy, and he could be in some form of something. I tell ya, I think he’d be very good.”

This is going to be an epic time in our country. Couldn’t think of better people to lead the way.

Ramaswamy Ran As A Staunch Defender Of Trump

Ramaswamy has been an ardent defender of Trump throughout his campaign, chasing after his Republican opponents voraciously for not backing the former President.

He upstaged and embarrassed his opponents during a debate in which the candidates were asked if they would commit to supporting Donald Trump as the nominee even if he is convicted on any of the numerous politically motivated criminal charges that he is currently facing.

Ramaswamy’s hand was the first to go up immediately while Florida Governor Ron DeSantis hesitated significantly and only raised his hand after watching the other participants.

Ramaswamy was also the first Republican candidate for President to fully commit to a pardon of Trump should the current charges against him become convictions. He even called on his GOP opponents to sign a pledge that they would right the wrong of a politicized Justice Department by pardoning Trump.

At another GOP debate, Ramaswamy openly wondered why he was the only candidate seemingly in tune with reality.

“Why am I the only person on this stage, at least, who can say that Jan. 6 now does look like it was an inside job?” he asked.

“That the government lied to us for 20 years about Saudi Arabia’s involvement in 9/11? That the great replacement theory is not some grand right-wing conspiracy theory, but a basic statement of the Democratic Party’s platform?” he added. “That the 2020 election was indeed stolen by Big Tech?”

Ramaswamy made the announcement to suspend his presidential bid on Tuesday after Trump won the Iowa caucus.

His appearance at the New Hampshire rally will only raise speculation that he’ll be joining the former President’s campaign in some capacity, if not his administration.
