According to far-left actor John Cusack, ‘Nazis’ are running for office in America.
Cusack didn’t name which candidates in particular he thinks are Nazis. But the outspoken actor still seems sure some are precisely that.

‘Too Bad We Have Nazis Running for Office On US’
The High Fidelity and Grosse Point Blank actor seemed to think that rightwing politicians were taking America in a dark direction.
That, or he’s describing anyone to the right of Bernie Sanders – which would encompass also all the most boring do-nothing Republicans you know and love – as a “Nazi”. Reminder, these “Nazis” can’t even bring themselves to vote against Ukraine war funding or for secure borders.
He reacted on social media to reports that Philadelphia’s Horwitz-Wasserman Holocaust Memorial Plaza had been vandalized with a giant swastika.
Cusack shared a story from The Jerusalem Post detailing the incident, writing on X, “That’s fucking terrible.”
“[Too] bad we have Nazis running for office on US,” he added. “The ghouls feel like they can come out.”
The Huffington Post reports, “Philadelphia police are searching for the suspected vandal, who was wearing a ski mask while caught in the act on a surveillance camera.”
The story continued:
A post on the Facebook page for the memorial plaza asked for help in identifying the suspect, calling the incident a “disgusting act of antisemitism that comes amid a staggering spike in anti-Jewish hatred across Philadelphia and the country more broadly.”
Cusack didn’t name anyone in particular in his tweet. However, he’s on record as not being an avid fan of former President Donald Trump, whom he called a “mentally ill, virus-spreading, child-abducting Nazi rapist” in 2020.
Looking at Cusack’s recent commentary on X, he also appears to have a real bug up his ear about Israel, prompting lots of commentary like the below:
Cusack is a frequent critic of Donald Trump and the Republican Party, but sometimes criticizes Democrats as well.
The Post added, “Last September, he accused Democrats of abandoning the middle class in a lengthy tweet, claiming that the party ‘played a major part in creating the precise conditions for fascism to flourish.”
“Cusack was reacting to news that a group of Democratic lawmakers had filed court documents to block a proposed wealth tax on the ultra-rich,” the Post noted.

Who’s a Nazi?
What candidates does John Cusack think are Nazis, exactly?
We might never know, but it’s easy to assume in his mind they exist on right spectrum in American politics.
Which is truly absurd, and only hurts the cause he imagines himself to be serving. We’ve allowed the left to destroy any meaning “Nazi” once had.
