The First Lady Jill Biden has been left completely humiliated this week after her White House Christmas video was slammed on social media for being “bizarre, freaky, and absolute garbage.”

Daily Mail reported that Jill released a video on Wednesday showing members of the Dorrance Dancers, a dance troupe based in New York City, tap-dancing in a “playful” way through the halls of the White House to a rendition of “The Nutcracker Suite.” As they go from room to room, the dancers show how Jill has decorated each one for Christmas.
“A bit of magic, wonder, and joy brought to you by the talented tappers of Dorrance Dance, performing their playful interpretation of The Nutcracker Suite. Enjoy!,” Jill captioned the video.
“Magic, Wonder and Joy’ is the theme this year, President Joe Biden’s third in the White House,” she added.

Social Media Users Slam Jill’s Decorations
Unfortunately for Jill, however, social media users quickly made it clear that they found her video to be anything but magical.
“The second hand embarrassment is off the charts,” one social media user posted, with another adding, “This should’ve come with a sensitivity label. This is horrendous.”
“ABSOLUTE GARBAGE,” a third person commented bluntly. A fourth user wrote, “You are so strange. Bizarre. Freaky.”
“The only thing missing was Dylan Mulvaney!!!” commented a fifth user, referring to the transgender influencer who has cost Bud Light hundreds of millions of dollars this year.
Others pointed out that the former First Lady Melania Trump’s White House Christmas decorations were far better.
The official Dorrance Dancers website states that tap is a “subversive” dance form that is “rooted in protest and transcendence.”
“Our goal is to engage with audiences on a musical and emotional level, and to share the complex history and powerful legacy of this American art form throughout the country and the world,” it continues.
The Dorrance Dancers website also includes an anti-racism section that offers tips on “how to educate yourself.”

Joe Biden’s Christmas Speech
CBS News reported that during the National Christmas Tree lighting, President Joe Biden claimed that the White House Christmas decoration theme of “magic, wonder, and joy” is meant to capture the spirt of the holiday season, “to rediscover for ourselves the simple joys of the season, from familiar songs to favorite recipes; to open the hearts with simple acts of kindness, especially to those — those going through hard times; and to strengthen the bonds with family and friends, as well as with our faith and our community; to remember we’re a great nation because we’re a good people.”
NPR reported that the grounds of the White House feature 98 Christmas trees, almost 34,000 ornaments, 72 wreaths and about 142,000 holiday lights. It took over a week for more than 300 volunteers to decorate the White House this year.
“I know that [magic, wonder and joy] can feel hard to find sometimes as the days grow shorter and the weather grows colder, as our hearts grow heavy in the face of a tumultuous world, as we miss those who are no longer with us – an empty seat at the table of our holiday gatherings. But it’s in these times when we are searching for hope and healing…that’s when we need each other the most,” President Biden said.
Like much of the rest of the Biden presidency, however, this year’s White House Christmas decorations were a massive fail. Sad!
