Elon Musk, the CEO of X (formerly known as Twitter), has branded the former CNN host Don Lemon as a “stupid a**hole” after cancelling his show on his social media platform.
Musk Rips Lemon As A ‘Stupid A**hole’
“On a chart that measured personality and intelligence, [Lemon] would be in the worst quadrant – stupid a**hole,” Musk wrote in response to the above clip from an interview that he did with Lemon.
In the video, Lemon showed his own ignorance as he failed to understand Musk’s explanation for his view of how DEI is being implemented in medical schools.
“Let’s say a surgeon-in-training is asked to do a series of operations under the supervision of a senior surgeon and they get a bunch of those operations wrong,” Musk said. “If that happens, and yet they are still approved to be a surgeon, the probability that someone will die, I think, at some point, is high.”
“I understand that, but that’s a hypothetical and that doesn’t mean it’s happening,” Lemon replied.
“I didn’t say it’s happening,” Musk said, to which Lemon asked, “You didn’t say it was happening?”
“I said it will. If we lower standards, people will die,” Musk said.
Lemon hit back by laughing before asking, “But why respond to something, or put something out there, that has not happened?”
Social media users were quick to point out how stupid this made Lemon look, as he couldn’t even understand a hypothetical proposition:

Musk Talks Hate Speech On X
During this same interview, Musk denied encouraging hate speech on X after Lemon showed him a series of posts that were seen as racist and anti-semitic.
“So, Don, you love censorship, is what you’re saying,” Musk said in response.
When Lemon replied by saying that he believes in moderation, Musk shut this down by saying that “moderation is a propaganda word for censorship.”
Musk went on to state that if a post is illegal, “we’re going to take it down,” but if it did not break the law, “we’re putting our thumb on the scale or being censors.”

Lemon Dropped By X
Musk was so put off by this interview that he responded to it by cancelling Lemon’s show on his X social media platform.
“Elon Musk has canceled the partnership I had with X, which they announced as part of their public commitment to amplifying more diverse voices on their platform,” Lemon wrote in a statement shared to X last week. “He informed me of his decision hours after an interview I conducted with him on Friday.”
When a social media user asked for clarification on this, Musk was happy to explain.
“His approach was basically just ‘CNN, but on social media,’ which doesn’t work, as evidenced by the fact that CNN is dying,” Musk said, according to SCNR. “And, instead of it being the real Don Lemon, it was really just Jeff Zucker talking through Don, so lacked authenticity.”
“All this said, Lemon/Zucker are of course welcome to build their viewership on this platform along with everyone else,” he added.
In trying to make Musk look foolish, Lemon has only once again shown the world just how ignorant he really is himself. With his deal with X gone to the wayside, we can only hope that Lemon fades away into obscurity, and that we are no longer subjected to his radically liberal and idiotic views.
